Course offerings

Explore all the ways you can learn more about how your body works

I am currently working on developing all courses listed below. Courses are currently unavailable but will begin to go live shortly. You will be able to purchase courses via the "Shop" tab once available.

In the meantime, browse the list of future course offerings below. I am always looking for new course suggestions - if you have a topic you're interested in, please let me know!

If you are interested in taking one of my courses, sign up for email updates using the form on the right to learn when courses become available. I promise I will NOT spam you with unnecessary emails. Let me know what course you're most excited for, and I will give you priority sign-up and a discount when the course becomes available!

Course list

I offer long-form, short-form, and webinar style courses. Long-form courses are those designed to take weeks to complete. They cover more comprehensive topics. Short-form courses are those designed to take days to complete. They focus on simpler topics and are typically 2-4 classes in length. Lastly, webinars are those designed to take hours to complete. There will only be one class for each webinar, which will focus on more niche topics. Below is my course list. Click on each course title to learn more!

If you are interested in providing one of my courses for your entire company, organization, or club rather than just for you as an individual, please reach out! I would love to discuss pricing and curriculum options. I can cater any of my pre-set courses to fit your needs, or come up with an entirely custom course of any length to support your company, organization, or club's educational goals.

Course logistics

Most courses will be offered both synchronously (live) and asynchronously (not live). The exception is the Scientific Investigations course, which will only be offered synchronously because of the nature of the course.

I will announce synchronous course schedules before the course begins so you have enough time to sign up. Course schedules (time of day, length of each class, day of the week, etc.) will vary so that if you're unable to attend one of my courses live, hopefully you can join the next!

Courses will range from approximately 1 hour for shorter webinars to 12 weeks for the longer long-form courses. Within a course, each class is designed to take approximately 1-2 hours, and we will meet 1-2 times per week if the course is longer than one class. Asynchronous courses will have the same number of classes or lectures as the synchronous counterparts, but you are welcome to complete the course in as little or as much time as you would like.

Pros and cons of a synchronous course:

  • Pro: I am available to answer questions live during class as we're covering material in addition to office hours that you can use to ask any additional questions

  • Pro: You will have a community of peers to connect with

  • Con: You will need to fit the course into your schedule and be able to meet at regularly scheduled class times

Pros and cons of an asynchronous course:

  • Pro: You can complete the course whenever and however you would like. If the synchronous version of the same course takes 4 weeks, you could extend it to 10 weeks or knock it out in 2 weeks.

  • Con: I won't be able to answer questions live, but you do still have the opportunity to attend office hours to have your questions answered

  • Con: You will not have a community of peers

Costs

Course prices vary depending on the number of lectures or classes. For each hour of lecture, the course price is $50 per person. So, for a course like Systems Anatomy & Physiology, the estimated class time is approximately 10 hours, making the total price of the course $500.

Pricing will be the same regardless of whether you are taking the course synchronously or asynchronously.

More complete course pricing will be available when once course content is completed and courses go live!

How to sign up

Currently I am developing course content and am not taking official sign-ups.

However, if you are interested in a particular course, please sign up for email updates! I will give you priority sign up and a discount when that course is available.

Attendance & Cancellations

Synchronous courses

Attendance for each class is expected. However, life happens and you might have to miss a class! If you anticipate not being able to make a class, please let me know ahead of time. I will do my best to get you access to course materials if this happens and you communicate with me. If you do not communicate your absence to me, you will not get access to course materials from that day. You will not be refunded for any missed classes.

If you decide you need to drop the course before it starts, you will get a full refund or credit if you contact me at least one week before the course starts. If you contact me within one week of the course start date, you will be refunded 50% of what you paid.

If you decide you need to drop the course part way through the course, you will be refunded a prorated rate for the classes you will not complete with a maximum of 50% refunded (e.g. you drop a course halfway through, so you will get refunded 25% of the total course cost or 50% of the cost of the classes you're dropping).

Asynchronous courses

This style of course is self-directed, so there really is no attendance. Complete the course at your own pace!

Once you purchase an asynchronous course, sales are final and you will not get any refund. You will have access to all course content once you purchase the course, so even if you decide you don't have time right now, you will still have access to all course content that you can complete at a later date.

Course costs

Prices will vary depending on the length of the course. In general, my current course list ranges from approximately $25 for shorter webinars to $400 for longer courses.

Prices will be the same regardless of whether you are taking a synchronous or asynchronous course.

More complete pricing will be available in the shop and in each course description once courses go live!

If you are curious if any of my services are right for you, want to book a tutoring or mentoring session, or have any other questions or comments at all, please reach out! I look forward to connecting with you!
