Mentoring Logistics
Private and group options
Due to the nature of the topics you're requesting help on, I only offer private 1-on-1 mentoring.
Frequency of sessions
You can book as many or few sessions as you would like. I will work with you to determine how many sessions would be most beneficial based on your needs. If you book 4 or more sessions I offer a 10% discount.
Length of sessions
I typically book sessions between 1 and 2 hours in length. We can determine a schedule that works best for you!
Timing of sessions
I am available most days and daytime hours. We will determine your schedule on a case-by-case basis.
Location
I am based out of Livingston, MT. I would love to work with you in person if you are located within approximately 50 miles of me! If you are located outside of Livingston, we will do our sessions via an online video platform.
Costs and rates
Private mentoring sessions costs $70 per student per hour.
This cost already includes my preparation time. In other words, you won't be charged extra for my prep time. A 1-hour mentoring session will always cost $70 regardless of how much time I spend preparing (i.e. proofreading your lab report) for our session.
If you book 4 or more sessions with me, I offer a 10% discount. For example, if you wanted my help with your undergraduate thesis and wanted to work with me for one hour per week for 6 weeks, the undiscounted rate would be $420. However, you would receive the discounted price of $378.
Payments must be received in full at least 48 hours before our scheduled session.

The consultation meeting will be used to determine more specifically what your needs are, determine if you want to meet in person or remotely, and come up with a schedule that works for you!
Cancellation & Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule, please give me as much advanced notice as possible. I will do my best to accommodate changes in scheduling.
I have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 48 hours, you will not be refunded for the cost of the session. Similarly, if you no-show to an appointment, you will not be refunded. If you cancel with greater than 48 hours notice, you will have the option to be refunded or given credit to use in the future.
If you made a payment for multiple tutoring sessions but do not need to cancel all sessions, I will refund you for the cost of the cancelled session(s) only, provided I am notified with at least 48 hours notice prior to the first cancelled session.
You will only be refunded for up to 3 cancellations, provided those 3 cancellations occur with at least 48 hours notice. You will not be refunded for any additional cancellations beyond the first 3, even if you inform me with more than 48 hours notice.
Once you have cancelled 3 times, all future sessions will be charged at the full undiscounted rate.
